Recently, GBPI successfully passed the on-site assessment for laboratory qualification accreditation/recognition relocation jointly organized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CMA) and the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). This milestone signifies that GBPI's testing capabilities, management system, and operational conditions at the new laboratory site fully comply with relevant national regulations and international standards. The company's existing CMA qualification certification and CNAS accreditation have been successfully maintained and transferred.
During the assessment, the expert panel highly commended GBPI for its meticulous preparation for the relocation, the high-standard construction of the new laboratory, the accurate installation, debugging, and interim checks of equipment, as well as the timely revision and effective implementation of the management system documentation. The assessment conclusion confirmed that GBPI possesses the full technical capability at the new site to maintain the scope of testing activities covered by its original accreditation. The management system continues to operate effectively, meeting all relevant requirements for the dual certification.
CMA certification is a comprehensive evaluation of a testing institution's capabilities and reliability conducted by metrology administrative departments at or above the provincial level. Laboratories obtaining CMA certification can precisely determine various product testing parameters based on stringent standards, providing scientific and accurate data support for product quality judgment. Within the domestic market, their test reports are legally binding, serving as powerful proof of product quality compliance for enterprises.
CNAS accreditation is a voluntary recognition activity undertaken by laboratories following international standards. Test, inspection, and calibration reports/certificates issued by CNAS-accredited laboratories are mutually recognized across 116 countries/economies worldwide. Reports issued by such accredited laboratories make it easier for enterprise products to gain international market acceptance during export, acting like a "passport" to the global market and significantly enhancing the company's competitive advantage.
Leveraging this successful passage of the dual certification relocation assessment, GBPI will continue to uphold its quality policy of Scientific, Impartial, Accurate, and Efficient.
