Product Introduction
Designed and manufactured based on cup-type water vapor transmission test principle, complying with ASTM E96 and GB/T 1037 standards. It provides wide-range and high-efficiency WVTR testing for materials with low, medium and high water vapor barrier properties. It is applicable to test water vapor transmission performance of films, sheets, paper, fabric, non-woven fabrics and related materials used in food, pharmaceutical, medical device and daily chemical industries.

Fill desiccant in sample cup for weight-gain method, or fill pure water for weight-loss method. Seal the cup with test specimen and place the cup into test chamber. Control temperature, humidity and wind speed inside the chamber accurately. The humidity difference between inside and outside the cup drives water vapor to penetrate through the specimen, resulting in weight increase or decrease of sample cup. Weigh the cup at fixed intervals to calculate water vapor transmission rate and other material barrier parameters.
