Product Introduction
W413 2.0 infrared water vapor transmission rate tester is a newly upgraded high-end precision packaging material testing instrument independently developed by GBPI R&D team in accordance with GB/T 26253, ASTM F1249 standards and market demands. Based on infrared moisture sensor test principle, it provides wide-range and high-efficiency WVTR testing for high, medium and low barrier materials.
It is applicable to test water vapor barrier performance of films, sheets, paper, packaging containers and other related materials used in food, pharmaceutical, medical device, daily chemical, photovoltaic electronics industries. It is ideal offline and online testing equipment for packaging manufacturers to detect material barrier property.

W413 2.0 adopts infrared detection principle. Fix pre-treated sample in the middle of test chamber to divide the chamber into high-humidity cell and low-humidity cell. Compressed air flows in high humidity side, dry nitrogen (carrier gas) flows through low humidity cell at fixed flow rate. Driven by humidity gradient, water vapor penetrates sample to low humidity chamber. The penetrated vapor is carried by dry nitrogen to infrared sensor. The instrument calculates sample WVTR and other parameters according to electrical signal output by sensor.
